Re: briefly explain the nature of the tech support job
Basically it's helping people with similar problems that are posted on this website! However, different companies focus on different things are their set up is obviously different. Usually support revolves around helping using with their applications such as MS Office and configuring email. More advanced Tech Support Jobs would have you manage SQL server or install and configure system wide changes to Anti Virus, for example.

the modification from natural to propane or from propane to natural gas requires a jet change for all burners and an air flow shroud position change to get the correct blue flame ( correct air /fuel ratio)
it is a job for a gas fitter who will have the correct jets for each burner and will know how to adjust the shrouds
Job profiling is done both by the prospective employer and candidate:
Employer - Job profile is the gist of information about the job for
which there is a vacancy. The skills and competencies required for
carrying out that job, the challenges and deliverable s of the job and
Key Performance Indicators thereto will be mentioned in the job profile.
Candidate - She or he need to write briefly about the positions held in
the past and the skills and competencies demonstrated in such jobs to
meet the expectations of the employer. It is also a good thing to
briefly touch upon the star achievements and performance for which
he/she good recognition and reward from the employer.
There are no user-serviceable parts on your camera.
The part you need can only be aquired and installed by a professional. You can find a service center at www.canonusa.com or find a camera store that provides repairs like Ritz Camera.
I dont know about your particular model. I do manage two Hayward 380,000 pool heaters that are natural gas fired and I have never had this problem you describe.
I also manage another dozen or so assorted other gas and propane devides. One propane device sooted so bad we had to discard it. It did this, according to the propane tech, because it couldn't breathe - there were louver type vents on the door that leads directly outside. He did, however, find a ruptured diaphram in the regulator and he replaced it. Hmmmmmm, couldn't breathe eh????
I'm not too surprised at the repair cost you cite. The exchanger is of course copper and there is the labor involved and lots of it. The age of your unit at this point is not relavent. What you do need to determine is why the unit sooted up like this. If you are gas fired, you know this is considered a clean fuel (compared to all others except electricity). What ever caused it must be repaired or you will be looking at another sooted up problem and repair ... and it will not be in three years, it could be next week.
I hope you find some value to my comments . Thanks for posting this question at FixYa.com
you have a shorted CRT
cathode ray tude.
if yoiu are a electronics tech do this
if not you run a high risk of electro shoch and posibil deth.
this is for tech only to do.
Unsolder resistor r902 going to green crt gun on socket.
atach a test clip to positive side of c909 (200 Volts) turn on tv set briefly toching other end clip to green gun pin on crt socket
this will remove the short in pictor tube and get you a bit mor life out of it.
PS if your not a tech do not try this method a q tech is best for the job.
