Question does it erase everything when you reeset it or just the action reaplay

  • dubora999 Jan 24, 2009

I had the same Problem, i had the ActionReplay for maybe an hour and when i turned my DS back on and when the AR loaded ALL of the games where gone.

I tryed the ""connect the usb to the pc.when you power up the ds lite with action replay in palce. press the select, start,A and B button at the same time, this will format your areplay. now update the action replay via internet and it will update all the games on your action replay"" you have to make sure you press them all at the same time, other people have been say press A+B then when it starts up hold start+select.. its wrong.. hold them all right when you turn on your DS. it woked 100% for me

    Thank you

hi buddy, just read your comment a while ago.if the action replay is not working at all then this one is already faulty that needs to be replace.and about the other question, its just the action replay that will be formatted.

My action replay card wont work the top of my dsi wont show

Since action replay voids Nintendo's warrant, there is not much you can do about that. Action replays can ruin you system, as you know, and that is why Nintendo doesn't support them.

ACTION REPLAY DS MEGA PROBLEM

I had the same problem, the solution is kinda simple (at least for me). The DS Action Replay after a while will not seat correctly, just pull the DS AR out => press the AR back in the DS firmly, then place the DS Cart into the slot. this should help. Also you may try plugging in the usb cord and then turning on the DS. It may be an Update problem.

My ds wont accept the ards. My other ards wont put any new games in the bottom screen it goes blue and red?My computer (windows vista)doesnt accept my ards

Your Action Replay DS hardware may require resetting if you are experiencing any of the following problems: * Code Manager PC software is reporting that Action Replay DS does not contain enough free space when it actually contains no codes. * Code Manager PC software is reporting the console`s battery is low when it?s actually fully charged. * Multicoloured bars are shown on the screen after you confirm the entry of a game ID when trying to manually enter codes. * You can use the Code Manager PC software without any problems until the Action Replay DS is connected via USB set to the update mode on the console, at which point Windows shows a run time error. If you are experiencing any of these problems, please follow the steps below to reset the Action Replay DS hardware. Please beware that resetting the Action Replay DS hardware will not restore a default codelist, and any codes which are stored on the Action Replay DS will be erased. With your console powered off insert the Action Replay DS Hold down buttons A+B Turn your console on With A+B still held down, as soon as you see the Action Replay DS license screen press and hold down buttons START+SELECT so that you now have 4 buttons held down Hold all 4 buttons down for around 10 seconds until the Action Replay DS loads to it`s home screen If Action Replay DS doesn?t hold on the license screen for around 10 seconds when you do this, you may need to turn off and try again whats an ard? from code junkies

MY ACTION REPLAY NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!

That has happened to me. Actually, all the time. There are many things you need right for it to work every time:

  • Is the Action Replay all the way in?
  • Is the game in the action replay straight?
  • Did you charge the DS with the AR in it? (mine works when I do that)
If all of this is right and it still doesn't work...
take the AR out of the DS and the game out of the AR, put it back together and restart the DS.

hope this helps=^.^=
