From Eclipse tech support... Basically, as they said: The clock is set by
the GPS. The unit needs to be On.
Setting Daylight Saving time: The clock is set by
the GPS. The unit needs to be On. Push the [MENU] button once, on the
display touch the [SETUP] icon, then touch the [TIME ZONE] icon, and then select
DAYLIGHT SAVING On/Off. Push the [OK] icon to 2 times to exit.
So it does not appear that it can be performed manually. I hope that helps

When I had my 5500 installed, I had the guy put in a switch so I could use the DVD while driving. A few months ago I accidentally hit the switch. I was getting Grey and could only use certain items. So the wire you have that is used to block use of DVD an part Nav during driving may be shorting out or hooked on the wrong spot.
for avn 5435 on the left:press menu and cont ant the same time, while holding them down press menu on the right 5 times
a menu will appear and ask you for a code. you have to call 800-233-2216 and pay $25 for the code. you will have to explain where you bought your eclipse and or know the name of the original owner. if it doesnt match they will not give it to you
