Remove the main battery power up, if no! have the power adapter checked for correct voltage, if okay! sub out the ram memory one at a time and test, still nothing! the DC jack in the laptop is a common source of problem, plug adapter into laptop and gently pull up at the same time hit the power a number times to see if it will come on, if yes! the laptop must be dismantled down to the motherboard level to address the repair.
Here is the fix my toshiba laptop also wouldent turn on so i call them and here is what you do 1. unplug the laptop 2.take out the battery 3.hold down the power button for 20 seconds (doing this drains any excess power fron the unit) 4.put battery back in 5.plug in laptop 6.try to turn it on hope this helps John
It went into hibernation mode you most likely knew that. While it was on was there a power cut? its likely your power adapter. Please explain a bit more what it does when you turn it on does the lights lite up can you see the adapter lite on if there is one. You can leave a laptop on for days there may have been a power cut and stuffed your adapter up like a power serge unbenown to you?.
