I unscrewed the bottom latch from the crib then slid the top part of the railing on to the crib. screwed the bottom latch directly back onto the crib already latched to the railing. it took me all of 10 minutes once my friends husband told me what to do.

Looking for teething rails for the Bethany James crib.

gud morning..maybe you can put a replacement of the plastic piece that slides or snaps on and covers the entire top of each side rail, you replace it by puting a cloths on it..and make sure that the child is safe.

thank you

Converting crib into toddler bed

Typically you can loosen the bolts on the side of a crib slowly until you get to a point where the front rail will pop out of its track. After it is removed tighten up the bolts again! I am not sure what crib you have or if that will work the same way with your configuration. You should make sure you have the springs at the lowest position as well. You will then have a 3 sided toddler day bed. I hope this helps. Richard - www.goores.com & www.gooresblog.blogspot.com
