SOURCE: Sheets wet, how to do?

Chenliquen,
you have 2 choices. 1-you put your foot down and he wears the diaper to sleep in. I know that it breaks your heart to hear him cry,
but while he's still young, is the time to teach him who has the
last word. Or if you don't want to establish his boundaries right now,
that's your choice. 2-your second choice, is to give him nothing to
drink within 2 hours of his bedtime and to be safe, plan on getting him
up every 2 to 3 hours all night. It's hard, but it will get him use to
getting up and using the bathroom. The upside to this, is that he'll
probably be potty trained at night, before he is during the day. I hope
one of these suggestions solves your problems.

What kind of cloth diaper do you recommend for babies with extremely sensitive skin?

Baby is sensitive to synthetic fibers, I would recommend a system of completely natural fibers- cotton or hemp diapers with wool covers and if the baby is sensitive to wetness, I would recommend a system with a stay-dry lining against the skin, like pocket diapers. You can have more cloth diapers recommendation for you baby's extra sensitive skin on Stoffwindeln.

Diaper genie 2 fell apart and can't figure how to get it back together. The flapper with spring attached to it will not go back together. Are there any diagrams to put it back together.

There are two parts to the diaper genie clamp mechanism. Look closely at the cutaway view of the diaper genie at this link: http://playtexbaby.com/App_Themes/PlaytexBaby/pdfs/DiaperGenieIIAdvanced_OwnersGuide.pdf One part that has the cutter, and one part has the spring attached to it. If you look closely at the illustration where it is labelled "clamp" and follow the black line it actually points to the spring - its just such a poor quality image you might miss that detail. Look at the orientation of the parts to each other in that illustration so you know which direction the parts go. To reassemble, starting with the part that has the cutter built into it, slip the end of that part that is opposite the cutter under the spring on the second part. When assembled, the smaller part of the clamp slides upon the other part, and when the clamp,is pulled apart the spring tension pulls the two parts back together. These two parts, once assembled, snap into place inside the top of the diaper genie.

Will only start water when in wash cycle

  • The diaper pail we suggest using is the size medium Diaper Pail with Carbon Filter, or, if you want a really big pail, the American Diaper Association approved 54 QT Diaper Pail. We sell them at Diaper Safari! They are nice and big andboth have a slot for a Citrus Circle which helps eliminate odors.
  • Try using a mild and environmentally safe detergent like: Bi-O-Kleen, Allen' Naturally or ECOS. You can also use Arm & Hammer for sensitve skin or Sensi Clean - do not use Dreft!
  • A Citrus Circle or a little baking soda some tee tree oil in the bottom of the diaper pail liner will help against odors.
  • Diaper Pail Liners can be our re-usable waterproof pail liners or standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags.
  • Sprinkle a few drops of BacOut Stain & Odor Eliminator on the diaper if "poop" got onto the diaper itself.
  • Adding a few drops of Tee Tree oil to the main wash leaves diapers smelling fresh and kills bacteria - not for pocket diapers.
  • Sun-dried diapers and covers become snow-white. Try this as often as the weather allows.
  • Use the dryer for a few minutes to soften sun-dried diapers that get stiff.
  • Wash and dry new diapers one to five times before wearing - for unbleached diapers this will remove the natural waxes and will fluff up the cotton, which gives the diapers their absorbency. You will only need to wash the covers, Fuzzi Bunz and AIO once or twice at the most.
  • Spray any solids off with the Mini Shower - it makes makes cleaning cloth diapers very easy
  • Don't let wet and clean diapers sit in the machine overnight.
  • For serious stain you can try something like Spay and Wash.
