Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television
I have a rear projection HDTV monitor 60PW9363 the crosses on the end are to far apart and the set will not let me adjust them.
These types of projection TV's have a failure rate of nearly 20%. If the manual converge in the menu is not allowing you to make the adjustment, the convergence ic's are bad. It is quite a costly fix - $600-$800. You can purchase the IC's for around $150, but unless you are a TV expert, I wouldn't advise changing them yourself. There's an expert here name Slinteriors who can probably give you further insight.
