Canon PC D340. The display says supply rec. paper tray: freesize. I have tried disconnecting the printer and reconnecting it but it has not worked. Can you tell me how to solve this problem...

Because the paper size of your software like Word is "custom", and the paper size setting of the printer is "ltr", the printer won't print until you change the paper size to "freesize". Change it in "Additional Functions" menu on the printer (Canon D340). (Word will change the paper size setting automatically if you adjust the margins of your paper too far)

How do I select paper tray 2

You can set the Brother machine to automatically select the appropriate paper tray based on the paper size or you can manually select paper tray1 or 2. If you use the Auto Select feature, the application will automatically pull from the appropriate tray based on the document#s paper size. For this feature to work, the tray settings must be definedfrom the machine#s control panel. For instructions on how to configure this setting, continue to the section labeled: ADJUSTING YOUR BROTHER MACHINE#S PAPER SIZE SETTING)
PART 1: ADJUSTING YOUR BROTHER MACHINE#S PAPER SIZE SETTING
1. On the Brother machine, press MENU.
2. Scroll to and press GENERAL SETUP.
3. Scroll to and press TRAY SETTING.

Paper jams always appear

According to the top of page 13 of http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00696169.pdf,
Avoid paper jams
To help avoid paper jams, follow these guidelines.
● Remove printed papers from the output tray frequently.
● Prevent curled or wrinkled paper by storing all unused paper flat in a resealable
bag.
● Ensure that paper loaded in the input tray lays flat and the edges are not bent or
torn.
● Do not combine different paper types and paper sizes in the input tray; the entire
stack of paper in the input tray must be the same size and type.
● Adjust the paper-width guide in the input tray to fit snugly against all paper. Make
sure the paper-width guide does not bend the paper in the input tray.
● Do not force paper too far forward in the input tray.
● Use paper types that are recommended for the HP All-in-One.

H2 error when printing from pdf to A3 in multipurpose tray

H2 error code means that the paper size you are feeding into the machine does not match the paper size programmed into the machine. Minolta's are picky about these 2 size matching. So if you trying to print onto A3 then when you select the multipurpose tray it must read as A3.
Here is the info from the factory service manual:
H2 The length of the paper set does not
match that of the paper actually taken
up and fed in.
• Load paper of the correct size again
according to the set paper size.
• Turn OFF and ON the Power Switch.
• For copier tray: Slide out and in the
paper tray in which the size error has
occurred.
• For Manual Bypass Tray: Place paper
in the Manual Bypass Tray.
• For Multiple Bypass Tray: Unload
paper from the Multiple Bypass Tray,
then reload it back again.

Check if the correct paper size is selected according to the letter size that you are trying to print, select custom size and give the specifications of the paper manually.
Open Solution center software on your PC, click settings>Printer settings, in the feature tab you have an option named Paper type, select plain paper and then click ok and close window and Solution center and try to print.
