The power supply will be on and working fine. After it warms up the power supply light will flash with a clicking sound from the microphone. After a few moments the microphone output level drops.

also, there might be interference. check for anything else that sends the same signal. it can be something stupid. it might even be a neighbor. witch you have no controll over.

I have this same mic, the problem is in the battery cover which with age no longer fits snuggly and causes intermittant power drops. Tape the hell out of it, or find a replacement cap.

I have pwned this mic for years now, it rox my sox. Started doing the same thing to me on my last tour. Check that the antennae on the receiver (the part that plugs into the mixer/amp) is not wobbly, if it is, there is a screw on the bottom under the sticker (will void warranty) tighten that up and that should fix it. There is also a squelch control on the transmitter under the batt door as well as on the back of the receiver.Using a SMALL flathead screwdriver, I turned the sq. on the mic all the way up (clockwise) and killed the sq on the receiver. Then (with the volume level VERY low) gradually turned the sq up until the outside noise (radio, cell, ambient signal) interference was gone. No more dipping in and out of signal, and I can go in the bathroom upstairs in my house and record in the basement. Great mic, just hope it doesn't die before I do!

Make sure belt pack antenna (short cable that dangles off of bottom of belt pack) is hanging straight down and not wrapped around the belt pack. Move the belt pack transmitter to your back. Check battery level, replace if necessary Note spot where mic cuts out, do not stand there
