Glass shattered on zephyr milano when no one home

SOURCE: Zephyr Milano hood fan and lights stop working. Power is on.

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: After the power went out your Zephyr hood lights and fan don't work at all. There is a faint glow on the digital display but the fan and lights don't respond to pressing the control buttons.

First check the circuit breaker. If OK then check the transformer in the unit. It's next to the fan motor. If no power on the high side then you have a loose or broken connection. If you have no power on the low side the you have a bad transformer. If OK then you have a bad control board.

Hi elenara, try applying slight upward pressure as you turn the bulb. Remember righty tighty, lefty loosy. This worked for us, now if I could only find a replacement bulb. Good luck!

just use an adjustable pliers wide enough to grip the outer small edges. Grip, turn counter clock wise and remove. The other way to do this is unscrew the panel behind the filters and you should be able to reach the neck of the bulbs.
