Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
WHEN VIEWING A SD CARD THE COMPUTER WAS TURNED OFF USING THE ON/OFF BUTTON. NOW AFTER TURNING IT ON IT WILL GO INTO A CYCLE ; IT TURNS ON AND OFF WITH A BEEP. I WAS TOLD THAT MY BIOS NEEDS AN UPDATE IS THAT SO? IF SO IS IT SAFE FOR AN AMEATURE TO PERFORM THIS? AND HOW DO I DO THIS?
How to update the bios of hp pavillion dv9000:
1. disconnect the ac adapter
2. remove the baterry
3. press the power button for 30 seconds or i1 minute
4. turn on the notebook

If you left the sd card in the reader, it is probably trying to boot off it. If the sd card is still in, remove it and try again
