How do I install my ink cartridge for a hp officejet 4215 all in one

Turn on the HP printer. Lift the printer cartridge door, which is the right side of the printer, revealing the black and color ink cartridges. Push down on the front of the cartridge you need to replace and pull it out slowly. Unwrap the new ink cartridge and peel off the tape. Insert it at an angle into the cartridge slot. Apply gentle pressure until it clicks into place. Close the cartridge door and press "OK" when prompted.

How do I change the ink cartridges in my Canon MP480? rn_bluediamond@yahoo.com

Step 1
Protect your desk, printer stand or work surface by placing an old newspaper in front of or next to the printer. The newspaper will provide you with a place to work without getting ink anywhere you don't want it. It seems as though no matter how careful or neat you are, a little bit of ink always manages to escape when replacing an ink cartridge.
Step 2
Prepare the new ink cartridge for installation. Remove the replacement cartridge for your Canon printer from all of its packaging. You may need scissors to remove the heavy wrapper. Leave the protective orange cap or tape in place for now. Set the new cartridge aside on the newspaper.
Step 3
Remove the old ink cartridge from the Canon printer. With the printer on, open the front door or panel of the printer. Wait a second or two and the ink cartridge holder should move to the opening where it is accessible. If it does not move, shut the door, turn the printer off for a moment, turn it back on and try again. Lift the small lever that secures the ink cartridges within their holder. On most Canon printers, it is colored green and located on the right side of the ink cartridge holder. Gently lift the old ink cartridge out of the printer.
Step 4
Place the new ink cartridge in the printer. Remove the plastic cap or tape protecting the ink cartridge, being careful not to touch the black and gold "sensor" area of the cartridge. Gently but firmly push the new cartridge into the empty slot left where you removed the old ink cartridge. The label should be facing outward. You should feel the cartridge pop into place. Then push the lever back down that you lifted in Step 3. Close the printer door. Use paper towel or wet wipes to clean any ink from your hands

Cartridge problem

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Canon ip1600 ink cartridges are not recognized?

First make sure you are placing the right
color cartridge into the right slot.
Most Printers are touchy about the
installation of ink cartridges. If the
instructions say to press the cartridge
into the slot until you hear a loud click,
that's what they mean. If at first you
don't succeed, remove the cartridge and
reinsert it into the slot again and press
on it hard till it clicks.
Then your printer should work properly.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

Printer wont recognize new or old cartridge

Use a Q-Tip and some clean water to clean the contacts behind the cartridge in the printer and on the cartridge itself. Then use a pencil with a clean eraser to polish the contacts. Be careful not to touch the part where the ink comes out of the cartridge.

Also, are you using Canon ink or third party?
