Hi
Is the graphic card on the motherboard directly or is it a card in a PCI or AGP slot?
If it is direcly inclued whith the motherboard you must go to the constructor website and download the updated driver if exist.
If it is in a separately slot as AGP you must to know the model of this as NVIDIA GEFORCE,...and go to their website to download the right driver for your operating system.

Hi can i upgrade the grafic card in acer aspire timeline 4820T ? i read that there is 128mb intel...thank you... :) and wich type of graphic card is in there ? thank you

You cannot upgrade this graphics card because it is not a graphics card but is an integrated graphics chip. This means that it is soldered onto the motherboard. This means that you cannot safely remove it nor will any other chip probably work where the old one is. This is very common for most laptops.

I need a graphics card, mainly for gaming I've looked all over the internet but couldnt find anything here are my computer specs Processor: Intel Celeron D 2.25Ghz RAM: 1.5GB Microsoft Windows XO media...

Depends on how much money you have to spend. The very best card will be ££££££ (or $$$$$ don't know where you are!).

The Intel graphics controller you mention is a chip on your mainboard that although fine for general use isn't going to cut it for gaming. It also uses some of your RAM so getting a "proper" card will free that ram up which is a good thing. Here's what I would do:
  1. Confirm the type of slot you have on your mainboard.
  2. Decide how much you want to spend.
  3. Read the many magazine and online reviews of cards.

Graphic cards

There are a lot of graphics cards available that will work in your PC. The key, is that the card you select needs to be PCI bus type. Check the game box's list of requirements to see supported graphics cards, and buy one that matches. Most graphics cards use a number system to describe the 'power', by assigning a larger number to the model to signify greater capability (a 9500 card is more powerful than a 8500 etc.)
