Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

My three year old son stepped on my HP Windows Vista laptop while the screen was down, when I opened it to see if there was any damage all of the colors were inverted. I tried to fix the problem (thinking it was only stuck in high contrast mode) by pressing alt shift PRTSC but realized that it didn't work. All the colors are literally inverted. Is my computer stuck like this?

    Hi,

Most likely your laptop has taken some physical damage to the display. Have you tried connecting the laptop to an external monitor yet?

    Sincerely,

    Kaj

I would say its most likely is because it's physical damage done and not like hardware damage done to it so i would say you have to get it fixed

My son has an HP G6062 laptop with Vista and he cannot use the keyboard to access Windows.

if you can get into the bios settings using the keyboard but when it get to the windows logon screen the keyboard stops working then it could be driver issue within windows.
Get hold of a usb keyboard, and plug it in to the laptop with the power off, start the pc, if the usb controllers are enabled in the bios you should be able to use the other keyboard until you work out what the problem is with the laptop keyboard

good luck
