I have an HP 50'' plasma, model PL5060N. One third of the display has gone blank. After I keep the television on awhile the dark, off-like area, gradually turns into a white/blue fuzz, then eventually the television turns off and cycles trying to turn itself on. Can this be fixed and how???

- Thanks much Mr. 420, I really appreciate the direction because I would really hate to just throw the television away. Now I just hope I am as lucky as you.
Here's the number to HP case management 877-917-4380 ext.79, try this number and be firm that they need to fix this, I just had an HP plasma that was 3 yrs old replaced for free, no charge. Good luck
