My picture went out and the power/stand by light keeps flashing red. Tried turning on/off the tv with remote and manually and nothing changes.

When was the last time you changed the bulb?
The flashing codes on the power light tell us what the issue is, what are the lights doing and how are they flashing?

If you are handy with electronics stuff repair then replace color wheel in light engine of tv to solve its issue.

Burned out lamp?

First. Turn on the set and see if the Lamp Illuminates, If so then you have a bad Color Wheel. If the Lamp does not light up, you have a bad lamp.
Take out the lamp and look to the center of the lamp. If you see broken glass inside you have a bad lamp.

Panasonic PT50LC14 No Sound or Picture

unplug it, and let it set for a minute or 2, then try it again...if it does it again hit the power button again to turn it back on...also once the the tv turns on make sure you reset the counter for the bulb..that will also cause problems...to reset the counter press the (-) volume on the tv while holding down the (-) press spilt, pip on the reomte...the lamp will reset and the indicator will go out

No Picture - Lamp Indicator Blinking

This may be the main power supply, or the lamp supply. This is providing that the new lamp is okay.

The service tech will swap out the modules to service the set.
