Question about Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 Web Cam
The specs Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 says it needs Windows XP but when I tried to run the installation CD, it said I required Windows XP SP2 version or higher. Is it imperative for me to upgrade?
1st You download Webcam Driver.
installation After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

If you explore the disk and find the exe. file you might be able to right click on it and click Properties. Sometimes there is a Compatibility tab that shows a list of Compatibility modes for older operating systems.
There is a chance that the camera won't fully function if you do this though so I would suggest you install Service Pack 2, as SP2 is basically the '2nd half' of xp, and will make installs much easier.
