Re: washing machine

The wire that is live goes to terminal "l". check which of the other two is neutral and put it on terminal "n". (it is probably the thinner of the two red wires) the remainong wiree goes to terminal "c". usually there is a little circuit diag on the interlock and this may help you

My creda cwa242 washer door wont open, i looked inside and found something wrong with the cable that goes to the motor.i need to see photo to see what it is suppsed to look like, i might be missing a...

I have the same model and also had a problem with the door not opening. The cable from the door latch goes to a clutch that prevents the door from opening while the motor is spinning. In my case, adjusting the clutch fixed the problem (adjust it while the machine is running). The problem could also be where the cable attaches to the door interlock, in the interlock device, or in the cable itself (bent, broken...). The interlock also prevents the door from opening when there is water in the drum.
Good luck.

Good luck

Door will not open on creda ied12, finished cycle looks like the handle is loose

Needs a new door handle kit which is the easy part.
the hardest part is getting the door unlocked, play with the handle to unlock it, or take the top off and try unclip the catch from the interlock .
You may have to break the door plastic, don't break the interlock though and buy a new door

Door won't open at end of cycle Creda 1000 ecowash front loader

Hi Jenny. Do you have the model No. available?
Most common cause of this problem is
1. A faulty or broken door catch.
2. A faulty interlock. This is the part that the door closes in to.

Some older models have other devices that will prevent machine opening if it has not pumped out fully, or mechanical devices that check for drum rotation that can be knocked during the spin. Could really do with age and model No. of machine.

My beko washing machine will not spin. the door does not stick shut which when turned on its ment too. not sure whether it has something to do with door or atual system

hello there it sounds like a door interlock problem
where the catch goes into the body of washing machine is the door interlock held by 2 screws turn electric of and plug out of socket and take lid of washer at the front of machine between drum and casing where catch goes in you will see interlock release cable socket and undo screws keep one hand on interlock so it does not drop down and take this with serial and model number to your washing machine spare outlet or currys parts master online

Creda excel W120VW

the 3 things i would consider would be the interlock,on/off switch or timer, Just because the door clicks it does'nt mean the interlock is'nt faulty there is no test you can do to prove it apart from trying a new one. also the on/off switch can melt remove facia to gain access to the switch it will help if you also loosen the timer, which will also allow you to see if the timer has shorted where the black connector block on the top of the unit goes if there is a track blown you will need to change interlock aswell. GOOD LUCK

Door interlock

Probably blown a track on the timer pcb, you need to remove the timer to check for short circuit.
