Question about Sony Televison & Video
The DVD player accepts any disc inserted and shows the play symbol in the display but there is no picture or audio. If I leave a disc in long enough, the following code appears on both the display and the TV screen: C:13:70 and states that the disc is dirty. We cleaned the discs; they work in our laptops.
Again, model #DVP-NS245P. I do not have the serial number with me at this time.
I am also looking for the Sony repair shop closest to 92317.

SOURCE: a sony dvp s360
your problem is a common one, it is not your changing the setting that
has caused your player to fail. c 1300 failure is quite common and is
caused by a weak pickup assy. after changing your setting it has just
turned up the power and caused the already weak pickup to fail.
a new picjup assy cost about 55 dollars and laboe is about 50 dollars to install it ..Not really cost efective to repair...todays DVD players do so much more than the 360. so i would say by a new one. good luck
please mark the post with a fixya!

You need to convert avi files to dvd format before burning, otherwise the player won't recognize them. Google "avi to dvd" and you'll find a number of free or pay programs that will do the conversion for you.
