Re: not seeing music i have sent to my mp3

Check the format of your music tracks. See if it is supported by the player. If not, you can use the media converter to convert your tracks and put them in the player

Cant load music on centon player. Says disk

If your "Hold" button is on, turn it off. The hold button write-protects the USB drive and you cannot add or delete files.

What if the music file says its write protected ?

I just bought mine yesterday and I had the same problem until 2 seconds ago. Move the "hold" button up on the side and it will let you write to it.

Adding music

Wait until it is done syncing no matter what the player tells you, and don't send more than 10 songs at a time.

Plug your MP3 player into your USB port go to your music folder click send to...

If your not sure remove your MP3 player go look in my computer at the list of drives you have plug in your MP3 player go look again.

My mp3 player doesn't player

If you are using the Sony Sonic Stage software, then it might be
a good idea to just format the MP3 player and start over downloading music to it. You have to use the Sony Sonic Stage software or else it gives you the NO DATA BASE error, even if
you have music on it.

Coby MP3 Player won't work correctly

On the side of the music player, there should be a switch with a pad lock design on the left side of it. Make sure the switch is all the way over to the right.

(I got this answer from Yahoo and it worked.)

Windows Media Player says The media is write protected.

Try the write-protect switch on the side of the device.

Nextar Mp3 player problem only thought is to check the extension on the music files you are sending and make sure they are .mp3 format. If the files are a different format that might explain why your player is not seeing them but your computer is.
