HTML Forms Recommendation

Can anyone recommend an HTML forms provider that can create a form for my website (name, address, email, phone, etc, then click Submit). There's bravenet.com but there are a lot of cheesy banner ads involved with them.

This is very easy to do yourself, and it saves you getting plastered with banners and ads!

Have a look at the formail.cgi script, it is very simple to setup and gives you an example to work with.

How can I add a "hot key" to my iPad. I want to be able to fill in values such as my email address in one keystroke. Is this possible?

If you use Google Chrome and login with a google account, you can save responses to fields when you fill in forms and it will auto populate those fields on other forms. Typical fields are first/last name, email, address, phone number(s)

How do set up an email account for the first time

The same way an eight year old does ;-).

Seriously... if the person has a mobile phone that receives text messages, they can get an account from any web-mail provider.

If you have a mobile phone (with text messaging):

  • Gmail and Yahoo Mail will work. A text message will be sent to
    the phone for verification.

If you are a close relative: child, parent, spouse, etc. and are available to help them manage verification when needed, that's OK, but DO NOT use the phone of a friend or person of convenience.
  • Simply go to gmail.com or mail.yahoo.com and click on the link to create an account, then carefully follow the instructions on the form and pay close attention to the username which becomes the first part of the email address: e.g. user.name@gmail.com. If you are John Smith john.smith and johnsmith are already taken so you will need to try something like john.smith1934@gmail.com or johnsmith1934@gmail.com (or some other number that makes sense and is easily remembered).
If you DO NOT have a mobile phone (with text messaging):

  • You will probably need to get an account from outlook.com which does not insist on having a mobile phone for verification.
  • If no phone is entered for an outlook account, an alternative email address is required for verification.

If you are a close relative: child, parent, spouse, etc. and are available to help them manage verification when needed, that's OK, but DO NOT use the email address of a friend or person of convenience.
  • Simply go to outlook.com and click on the link to create an account, then carefully follow the instructions on the form and pay close attention to the username which becomes the first part of the email address: e.g. user.name@gmail.com. If you are John Smith john.smith and johnsmith are already taken so you will need to try something like john.smith1934@gmail.com or johnsmith1934@gmail.com (or some other number that makes sense and is easily remembered).
  • When you get the the place on the form where it asks for a phone number, leave it blank, but enter an alternate email address instead into the field for the alternate email address.

Visit your chosen bank's website and select the option that initiates the Net banking process. Enter your name, address and email address in the designated fields.

Provide your ATM or check card number and pin, and your Social Security Number, if required by the bank, in the format specified in the registration form.

Read the terms and conditions, which list what to expect in online banking and the bank's confidentiality policies regarding your personal information.
This section asks for your agreement--check the box provided to indicate your agreement. Proceed to create your log-in name and password, which you'll use to access your account online.

Create a strong password that uses both numbers and letters.
You must provide a security question, which the bank will use to retrieve your log-in details in case you forget it.

Complete the registration form.
Log in to your account using your ID and password, and check the account details.

Hello,

You can find the claim forms on the Cigna website. I have provided the link to the form below,

I would recommend bookmarking that claim form site or saving the form to your computer for further use.

Im using html to create forms and want to store that data in ms access or any other backend so that more of the data is stored so i just want the syntax to be written in html that can connect the database

Dear friend, for this subjject you should use CGI scripts, you can't save them only by simple HTML codes, so I provide some useful links to learn how to save entered characters in feedback forms by these CGI scripts and HTML, I hope they could help you, just read these articles carefully.

http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/cgi/processingforms.html

http://www.rebol.com/docs/cgi2.html

http://www.help4web.net/webmaster/html_tutorial/chapter15.html

http://webdesign.about.com/od/forms/a/aabg073099a.htm

You can also make feedbacks form simply by FRONTPAGE, you just need to this software, select a feedback form template, customize it and setting up the form option about how to save, and where to save, but remember that if you use frontpage for this job, your domain should support frontpage extension too.

Good luck

What type of order form? My advice would be to use Dreamweaver CS3 but heres a basic form with script that could be easily adapted to an order form.

alert("Please make sure you have included your name!")

// This section also uses a regular expression to check the email input box.
// It checks for one or more characters, then it checks for the email @
