Dryer not gettig hot.

Must be a gas model. They typically do that when the gas solenoids get age on them. They work once then quit, then work some more when cooled back down after a long period of time. Very hard to diagnose for the DIY person but pretty much a common probo associated gas dryers. Swap out the solenoids and party on!
If your is an electric model I would check the vent pipe or filter chute for parcial blocking which might cause safety themostats to shut down the heat.

My gas dryer does not warm up and becasue of that clothes do not dry. Mod: 110 70722990

doesnt warm most likely to one of four parts being at fault the hi limit thermistor the low limit or safety thermistor some units also have a start relay or the heater all these pieces can be checked for faults by doing continuity tests on them using a multimeter this link is also the entire parts diagram for your machine should show you how to take it apart and which pieces im refering to for you to test ooook skip half of doing that thought you had an electric instead you would first test the ignitor should be drawing between 3-3.3 amps if this is any less then replace it less would constitute a weak ingitor and would be why the gas is not lighting following this you would test the coils to assure that you are getting voltage to the coils if you click this link here it will show your burner assembly part number 4 is the ingitor 13, 14 would be the two coils that i had mentioned earlier if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

I replaced the ingitor sensor on my Kenmore gas dryer and it still does not heat up. What should I check next.

Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly. if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip.... If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat. check out this electric no heat tip...

I have a atlantis gas dryer that doesn't blow hot air anymore.

The Gas burning control didn't turn on. Common problem is a thermal sensor problem. You can see the ingitor turns on then turns off without burning. The thermal sensor will sense the heat from the ignitor to turn on the gas valve. If it doesn't sense the heat gas won't be turn on. If gas is not on the ignitor will turn off after a pre set time interval. Need to take off the panel cover to see what have been discussed here. Good Luck.

Kemore dryer modle 11072622101

There is a white thermal fuse on the blower assy. It has 2 wires going into it. You can , off course unplug the dryer first, take the 2 wires and attatch them together. Your just bypassing the fuse. Bypass it and try running it. If it works replace the fuse. If not, let me know. Hope that helps , dave www.washermd.com
