It is a special pump and goes by a specific part number not a size. Any auto parts store can look up the pump for you.

SOURCE: fixing a fuel pump on a 1997 oldsmobile aurora

The good news first!!
No need to drop fuel tank!!
Lift carpet from trunk ... just in front & a little to the right of spare wheel well is an access cover. When screws and cover are removed you have complete access to top of tank with pump and sender assembly mounted below a twist off clamp ring. When replacing Delphi fuel pump unit make sure you also replace gasket.
The bad news!!!
New pump unit over $300!!! ... try junk yards.

SOURCE: replacing fuel pump on 1995 oldsmobile aurora

The GM 1995 Aurora repair manual, says to use the access hole under the carpet in the back right corner of the trunk. You are best to buy a new fuel sender locking nut or ring at the dealer for about $8.

Forgot to add this - to relieve the fuel pressure, just use the press the center of valve on the fuel rail (for pressure testing) and a rag to catch the dribble. Really no big deal.

Make sure disconnect the battery cables too

SOURCE: where is the oil pump located on the 2001

it should be in the oil pan. Drain the oil, remove the bolts, remove the pump, and when re-installing get a new pan gasket or it will leak.
