Step 1: Start Internet Explorer if it is not running already. Click on Tools and then Internet Options.
Step 2: In the Internet Options dialog box, click on the Security tab and then select Internet Zone. Click on the button below labeled Custom Level.
Step 3: Scroll down the list that pops up until you find the entry called Allow Meta Refresh. You can see two option buttons below the entry: Disable and Enable. By default, it should be enabled. Disable it and click OK.
Step 4: Click Apply and OK on the Internet Options dialog box. That is it! Your page will no longer refresh automatically anymore, so you will not have to worry about content being updated or changed without your permission.
Although this solves the annoying problem of a web page refreshing every few seconds, let me make it clear that meta refresh is important. Many websites use it to direct the visitors to the correct web page, though the use of meta refresh is discouraged by the W3C.
Note: The use of Meta refresh by websites is decreasing day by day and is being replaced by JavaScript functions or HTTP redirection headers. This method may not work for sites using JavaScript.

The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset

Bring up the browser window and let it load to whatever page it is set for. Once it loads, click up in the address bar and type in www.Yahoo.com and click enter. When the Yahoo screen loads, click on the "Tools" column and scroll down to "Internet Options". In this window the first area you see is the homepage tab. Click on "Use Current", this will make the current page your home page, which is Yahoo. Click apply and OK.

DOES PLASMA TV HAS 120HZ AUTO MOTION PLUS

This particular model has a 60Hz refresh rate. At this point there are no broadcasts or video sources outside of special labs that can generate enough data to produce a refresh rate of 120Hz. Expect this to become available in a year or so. Please realize that the human eye can not see changes faster than about 30 frames per second. The current standard refresh rate of 60Hz is twice that. The only change you could see (unlikely) would be a slightly smoother flow for fast moving scenes. Typical movement on the screen will not likely see a difference.

Changeing the refresh rate

You can download the manual and view it on this Acer web page. The monitor should adjust itself to the refresh rate provided by the converter box...but you can experiment with the picture clock settings described on pages 9 and 10.
