Radio shack has a few universal remotes. If you can check the instructions before you buy a new remote, that will list what remote systems it can work on. It might be on the back of thepackage .
If your system is not listed, you can still program the functions. IF your remote is still working, you can use it to program the universal remote as a replacement. If you remote has a few buttons that DO NOT WORK, your only choice is to take it to an electronics shop to have it fixed, and THEN program a replacement remote.
In theory, you could contact the manufacture, and buy a replacement, but often, not if the remote is more than five years old.
