Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

Can't reset error not assigned on my sharp xe-a40s cash register

I am getting the following errors on my sharp xe-a40s cash register

not assigned
000000000.0000

None of the buttons work with the exception to the receipt and jurnal tape buttons.

    I've already tried that and I could not find anything that would fix my problem.

    Unpluging it for ten minutes did not reset it.

    I tried adding a clerk but the keys are locked up.

    All keys are locked so pressing the CL won't do anything.

The error 000000000.0000 is the error of the internal functions malfunctioning error it will not get resetted till the machine is not getting repaired internally.its the error of short circuit in the device nothing will work till the faulty component checked and replaced.

If i follow this correctly... hit CL then assign a clerk code... that should fix it

    If the print head comes up, the printer stalls, “HEAD UP” will appear on the display. Key entries will not be

    accepted. Bring the print head back to the correct position, then press the lkey. The printer will print the

    power failure symbol and resume printing.



    refer to your manual to check it's not in the head up position... if it is reset it then press cl and carry on programming it.

Unplug for ten minutes then plug back in this should reset it back to normal!

    clear the error by pressing -------CL----key .it will solve.
    also try from that manual the procedure to reprogram that will help.

Sharp xe a40s error not


No programming needed. You just forgot to sign on. You need to assign a clerk to use it. Type in your PIN (logon secret code) and press CLK# button. If you have forgotten your code, you can program a new one with the manual. One of the users has it listed here:

NOT ASSIGNED CODE


NOT ASSIGNED means no cashier is signed on. Find the cashier number button, probably labeled CASH #. In REG mode, press CL to clear the error, then 1, then CASH #, and Cashier 1 will be assigned. The display will show -01- Go straight from here into your sale.
Some registers are set up to not show the cashier number on the display or receipt. If 1 CASH # doesn't work, try CASH #, 1, CASH #.
Most users don't track sales by cashiers, so they forget they even have the capability, and they forget how to use that CASH # key. If you press the CASH # button without entering a number, it will sign out the active cashier, and you'll get this NOT ASSIGNED error.

Can`t reset error not assigned on my sharp xea-213 cash register


No one has logged on. log on a staff member using their PIN number, then the CLK# button.

My sharb cash register XE-A40S got error( Not assigned) I press CL+1+Clk ) dos not work what I have to do?


That is strange. You may have had the clerk sign on codes changed by someone. Make sure you are using the CLK# button at the top of the keyboard next to DEPT SHIFT button. Make sure the key is turned to REG position. If 1 CLK# doesn't work, try 2 CLK# or 9 CLK# Most machines will print the clerk number on the display once you enter it correctly e.g "-01-"

Register won't operate. "not assigned" error in reg mode. I can't find an answer. And tomorrow is our busiest day, ie saturday. Please help


My Till Says ‘NOT ASSIGNED’
Clerk not logged on
Press numeric number 1 button
Press CLK#
Press CL & proceed with standard operation

Yes you are right. you have logged yourself out of the machine. it is telling you to log back in.

Press 1 then CLK# or CASH#

Error Code 02 on when swithced on REG. Can't cancel error. Shows E01 when swithced to X or Y


Hi. Error codes are different between models. I need to know the brand and model number.
