This is a partically complex error and has numerious causes all of them quite difficult to cure(sometimes also displayed is a message insert drum), there is rather a process than one solution.
(This error usually occurs when drum/s are replaced).
this can be caused by dirty contacts between drum and copier, can be caused under certain maintenance counter glitches(reset ITB usage counter) also if using generic drums never initialize drum/s.
It has been neccessary before to have to replace ITB assembly.
Primarily we will need to upgrade firmware(this requires a computer with canon service support tool loaded and the latest firmware for specific model in this case iRC2380/2880/3080/3380 ect). a connection between device and pc then must be made via network cable. load latest firmware, this usually solves issue. refer to help for service support tool usage

There can be other causes like transfer rollers ect, but these are not the normal cause.
