SOURCE: jI have a Janome 1100,

When you put in the bobbin case, be sure to press it in firmly until you hear it click into place. If you can't press very firmly, or are afraid of hurting your machine, simply lift the latch from the bobbin case, holding it open while you firmly insert the case into the machine. Then release the latch. You should be good to go. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Bobbin problems

Are you using a size "A" (Class 15) bobbin? If you are using pre-wounds and they are not this size... they will jump around alot. The size of an "L" is very similar, but they are not as tall (height off the table when laying flat on the round side... like when sitting in the bobbin case.) There are tricks to using the thinner bobbins... See if you have a "taller" size "A"/Class 15 and if that corrects the trouble. tjsews2008@gmail.com

How can I open the Janome Sewing Pretty with Hello Kitty machine to put in bobbin?

There is a removable tray on the front. Pull it to the left. This will expose the bobbin door. Lift the clip on the bobbin case to remove and replace it on the hook.

Why does the needle keeps getting stuck in the bobbin

Sounds like you've got a thread jam going on. Take the bobbin and bobbin case out, take the needle plate (=throat plate) off the machine, and clean all the lint and bits of thread and other gunge out of there. Reassemble. Rethread with the presser foot up. Fetch up the bobbin thread and pull bobbin and top thread ends under and behind the presser foot. Then start each seam like this:
1. Fabric under the presser foot; lower needle with handwheel or needle up/down key into the beginning of the seam.
2. Drop the presser foot.
3. Hold the ends of the bobbin and top thread behind the presser foot while you take the first 2-3 stitches
4. Drop the thread ends and sew normally.

Handwheel stuck

most likely the bobbin thread is wound around the components.
remove the bobbin and check for a mass of thread cut it all away and remove every last bit then it should work

Other than that you may need to buy a manual from some of the online sewing machine manual sellers

The underneath threat doesn't come up

double check the needle hasn't moved as if its not in the correct position it will not go low enough to pick up the bobbin thread.
Make sure you have threaded top properly and the bobbin in put in the right way, each machine has its own direction the bobbin thread should come out ( eg clockwise)

Thread tension?

I own this little gem of a machine. It definitely sews a perfect stitch. I'm assuming you own the green 3/4 size machine as denoted by your product number. The half size blue one pictured is incorrect.

Anyway, this machine sews a perfect stitch, due to the oscillating bobbin. Most sewing machines with rotary (drop in) bobbins don't have an easily accessible bobbin tension screw, which means your fabric is usually slightly puckered. Fiddling with only the upper tension helps very little. This frustrates me to no end for sewing long curtains, clothing side seams, etc. Wrong tension causes them to hang with puckers, making them look awful. With the Hello Kitty 3/4 size Janome, there is a screw on the bobbin case which allows you to adjust for every thread diameter perfectly. Always a perfect stitch, if you take the time to adjust this screw.

To adjust the bobbin for a perfect tension, load the bobbin into the bobbin case and thread it through the guide. Holding only the thread between two or three fingers, let the bobbin case dangle below. This will be slightly difficult, because the bobbin will want to fall out of the case. Don't worry, just don't move it around too much and it will stay in long enough for this test. If the metal bobbin case slowly drops lower, unwinding thread as it goes, the thread is too loose. Tighten the screw on the side of the bobbin case a little (about a quarter turn.)

If the bobbin case seems to be dangling firmly, give the thread a gentle tug, lifting up fairly quickly. If it doesn't release a couple of inches of thread, it's too tight, loosen the screw. You know the tension is perfect when a quick, light tug of the thread releases a couple of inches of thread.
