You may need to roll back system with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode). Win 7 - Start > Search type System Restore. XP - Is Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates. Uninstall last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode. To eliminate possible bad RAM. Unplug PC, open case, and remove all RAM. Test one DIMM at time, one slot at a time. Re-install Windows. Clean install works best, but all data will be lost. Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

Ma laptop samsung rv510 froze while on internet last nite no buttons or anything would work including on\off button so took battery out and turned bk on now it wont boot up keeps coming up wae black screen...

It sounds like a hard drive failure. Try to test the hard drive in a desktop system to see if the data can be read. If so, copy everything you want and attempt to run a diagnostic to evaluate the derive. You likely will only get one chance to recover the data, so be sure you do it quickly.
Start here to find a tool to test the drive in another system AFTER you have tried to recover any useful data ( pictures, music, documents, etc)

HP zv5000 request Power on Password

It seems that a bios password keeps you locked out. Try entering the bios (del or F2 during the boot) and get back to defaults or reset the password.

I PURCHASED A MAGNAVOX TB110MW9 CONVERTER BOX FROM WALMART. I HOOKED IT UP. IT SCANNED THE CHANNELS BUT IT KEEP SAYING NO SIGNAL.

I have a Magnavox TB110MW9A converter box that has worked fine for the last 8 months. Now you turn it on, the light blinks 31 times, stays on and there's nothing on the screen! The remote does nothing. (yes, I put new batteries in)
