NO, don't go t registry if you don't know what to do.
search the web and download the USB 2.0 driver, and install it.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My laptop with windows 7 all of a sudden cannot detect any usb? indication at device manager, usb host controller, there's an unknown device??can u help me what to do?

the Driver of USB Controller is deleted (by a virus or something like that)
and you need to install some drivers.
so put the motherboard driver Disk in your drive and try to update the unknown device in your Device manager
or install complete drivers of the Disk.

How do i install it without a cd

hi cool, are you asking weather how to install OS without CD or CD drive , if you want CD mean you can get it from local market lot of pirated version available in market, but its more best to buy licensed version to get full customer support.

IF you don't have CD drive mean you have another option USB memory card , but you have to make that USB memory card as bootable device for that you have to follow this steps

Download FreeDOS and make a bootable DOS USB Key.You have to used another system which have CD drive , put OS cd on that system copy the full OS on that CD to USB.

Now you can insert your USB to your laptop or pc and you can start to Install OS, but make sure you have to you have to select bootable device as USB drive.

Good luck ! if you think your problem solved don't forget to rate

I installed Fifa 11 When i start it, a dialog box appears stating "E0001" whats the probem and how to solve it?

This is due to your graphic card not supporting "Layer 3 mode or better". You need a better graphic say with "layer 4 mode" support to play the game.

Chipsets used in models
NVIDIA GeForce 7300, 8100, 8200, 8300 und 9300,
ATI Radeon HD3200, HD4350 and
Intel/S3 do not satisfy the hardware requirements.

Hope it helps.

I have no cd installer. How can i solve this/

My friend, you will have to invest in an external device (CD/DVD player)that will connect via USB cable ... find such a device at any of the big box electronic or office supply places ... or at a advertiser.

I have some problems on my pc, i want to make bootable pan drive

I have used a usbhelper software to make bootable USB drive. You can search internet for the bootable USB flash drive program for your computer. Once you have the program installed you can use the img file of the system CD to make the pen drive bootable. If you don't have the image file you could create one with ISO burning program like Nero.

USB works under BIOS, doesn't plug'n'play under WinXP

Seems u r having plug and play problem.
When the second problem appeared? after the upgrade?
Some weird things like this, exists with SP3.
Does Windows ask u to install them?
Check whether the PnP is enabled from the BIOS.
U can try installing your chipset driver (Update).
Go to action menu and Click on Show Hidden Devices. Go to Hidden devices and check whether there are entries related to usb with yellow marks. Parport,Mountmgr (non PnP). etc. Check whether you have any Viruses.
Important :
Check whether these services are functioning properly.
Go to Device Manager
Click On - Services
Plug and Play (Automatic-Normally) Service
and Such services as PLFlashDeviceIoControl Service, Portable Media Serial Number Service, Windows Management Instrumentation (Set to Automatic) and Windows Management Instrumentation Driver Extensions (Start it). They are the people who are responsible and caused these errors. Double Click an set each one's Recovery options.
Then go to Event Viewer and check System (ans Application) for specific erroneous entries.

Did u do a system restore. Anyway if you have upgraded u can't of cause. U could try that. Check whether ur usb root hubs are functioning. U have to upgrade drives for XPSP3. There are many compatibility issues.
Try the latest chipset drive.
Try removing these.
Then reboot and check.

If this solution works or helped you, please kindly RATE the answer.
Wish you luck!

Why will the program not read my external drives, like flash drives or camera cards when I put them in to look at the files? I often have to leave them in the computer and restart everything. If I happen...

Without knowing more about your system, it's hard to point directly to a cause, but have a look at this link and consider the possibility that the use of a powered usb hub might solve this problem. Also make sure you have all the latest updates offered for your system by visiting windows update and running a custom scan. Check the optional hardware and software updates and see if there are offerings that affect the usb devices you are using. See this MS article, for reference, as many vista users have expressed similar complaints about drivers uninstalling. (Other links for these devices here and here.) If you're using a desktop, try plugging into the rear port instead of the front, try rearranging the device's cables, etc. When you reboot, the plug n play detects the device and installs the drivers for it. Try to make a habit of using the system task icon to safely remove hardware when you want to disconnect your devices, or try alternatively using the eject menu for the device in Vista. (Also see link here.)

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

You do not require another card..Most Usb devices like mp3 players, pendrives, thumb drives etc., will detect themselves and install automatically(plug and play devices)..However devices like printers, Scanners, Digital cams require drivers..If you want further help regarding any device, feel free to contact us..
