Unscrew the top of stereo. take off the part that holds down the cd. use cotton bud(cue tip) 2 wipe the lens softly. then try that.

The deh p6050ub does not play DVD's. You can add on a DVD player and control it thru the Pioneer. The Link above is for the owners manual. Page 59 describes the use of a DVD player. If the link does not work, do a search on the web " Pioneer deh p6050ub"
for the manual.

What sort of disc is it? If its a writable cd, the format on your recorder needs changing or your using cds under copyright protection.

My head unit rockford fosgate rfx8250ti wont play cds?????

hi there
this is a pretty common problem the lens that reads the cd gets dirt on it and doesnt allow the player to read the cd you can go to local wal mart or electronics store and ask for a cd cleaning cd this has little brushes on it and cleans the lens however some times the lens goes bad but 9 times out of 10 the lens is just dirty hope this answers your question have a great day

My cds are not playing. When cd is inserted - it say TOC READ then ERROR. How can I fix this?

either the laser unit is dirty in which case you can clean it with a special cleaning disc or the laser unit is defective and the unit needs repair/replacement.

The problem is getting the word 'err' when inserting a CD. The CD contains files of type MP3, music files. However, this isn't the case for all CDs. I am not sure what are their types, but some cds...

Check the specs of your audio system; not all can use MP3s or read CD-Rs or CD-RWs. Commercial CDs have a different file format.

If your system can read MP3s and the media you are using (CD-R or CD-RW, most likely), next make sure that you finalized the discs in question. (Finalization ensures that a disc written by one machine is readable to another.) The only other possible issue is a tracking problem (the machine that wrote the tracks put them in an place that the sound system isn't finding). If the computer optical drive is the source of the error, it's usually cheaper to replace instead of repairing.

I hope this helps.

I put a cd that my friend made for me and the radio worked for reading i saw numbers but nithing was playing try to take it out and everything went blank now i just have a buzzing sound and cant do...

Assuming other CDs work, it sounds like your friend recorded the CD in the wrong format, probably digital format or your CD player cannot read the CDR. Not all CDRs can be read by all CD players regardless of what others may tell you.
Good Luck,

My clarion drb3675 reads original audio cds but with audio cds I made it displays error 6. Anyone know the reason..

I've found a few comments online regarding that deck saying it's awfully picky about CD-R discs. CD-R's have a much lower reflectivity for the laser pickup than stamped CDs. Some CD-Rs are more reflective than others, though. You might try a few different brands of CD-R and see if any work better.
