What is the default info for linksys wrt54g3g-st

Reset the router disconnect the power cord by 40 seconds, and then use small pencil eraser with the point make click to the small switch in router, for hard reset, and wait, and try again if is working. If do not
uninstall the software for Linksys, and install again with the disk setup and try again.
Run the open network connection select the network troubleshooter and fix it., see if the Internet signal is o.k

When you look between the Ethernet port and Power button, there should be a reset button there you should hold for 5 seconds. Of course if you do that, If you changed Network name and key that will be reset to the default settings, Also is wireless network showing when you pull up the Networks? hold on to the reset button on the unit for about 10 seconds or more and then release. this will set the router to factory defaults. access the router thru http://192.168.1.1. Login to the router with Usename and password "admin" and change the settings again

if you can login to the device you can go to http://192.168.1.1
go to the administration button and there is an option there to reset to factory settings
if not you need to hold the reset button for atleast 30 seconds and power it on and off while holding the reset button.

if you dont know the default password then you have to reset it you can reset by pressing the reset button and reconfigure the router.

there chat is really awesome get on with them and they will walk you thru. I just did mine... the IP for the router access was 192.168.1.1 but mine was a GS. the user name you leave blank and the password is admin. If the password does not work then hard reset by holding a pen in the the back of the router for a full minute to allow all the power to drain and memory to erase.

Once you have access to the router you can set it to anything want... I suggest you set the number of DHCP leases to be one more than you have computers for so that a guest with a wireless can access without have to set up another access and MAC Filter.

As far as the AIR card goes use a ethernet cable to connect directly to the router to make the changes. then once you are in the router you will set the exact IP and default gateway required by your device and games... you can set them and open ports too... just do not open anymore than you have to..
