Question about Zanussi TC7102W Electric Dryer

Tumble dryer not turning with heavy load

Does not spin round when lot of washing in thought it was belt although worn abit still ok asked in a shop told me it would be the brushes on the motor do u think thats the problrm please help

It could be the problem. Check first to see if belt is tight enough and not slipping on drum. The spindle or axle the drum rotates on could be worn out. Try lubricating it if you can.

Drum will not spin on spin cycle Belt ok not slack water syphoning pump ok and working would it be the brushes in the motor compartment are worn


More than likely, it will be the brushes that need to be replaced,
you will need to remove the motor to do this.

Washing machine switched on, although timer runs it's cycle there is no action from the machine!


sounds like the motor or motor brushes worn,you 1st need to make sure its pumping ok. put it onto a spin make sure pumps ok,if no spin then check your motor...

The drum wont rotate, is it belt driven from the motor, if so how do you get in to change? cant get lid off


take the back panel off to get to ure belt, but first put ure hand inside ure machine n spin the drum if there is no strain wen tryin t spin the drum n the drum feels very light to spin ure belt has snapped if there is abit of strain u will need ure motor brushes changing
