I need hook up instructions for Labtec LCS 1012 Computer Speakers

I moved my computer and I need hook up instructions. I do not have the manual book (can't find it).

check whether the output plug is connected properly or not.... if it is then check out whether the adapter is giving the power output.... if it is then the speakers are spoilt otherwise u can just replace the adapter...

SOURCE: I just hooked up my Labtec LCS-2420 speakers to my

  1. Click on Start, Control Panel.
  2. Double click "Sounds and Audio Devices" or "Multimedia"
  3. Click on "Audio" at the top
  4. Make sure your Default Device for Sound Playback is set to your sound card.
If that doesn't work, go back to Control Panel
  1. Click on Start, Control Panel.
  2. Double click System
  3. Click on Hardware at the top
  4. Click on the Device Manager button
  5. If you see an expanded device tree with Yellow exclamation marks, right click and choose Uninstall.
  6. Reboot

Opening Labtec speakers type LCS-1030


To open these you need to pull the front grille off. There are four screws, one in each corner. You'll need to do a bit of prying to get it open as the case is sealed around the edges, but it isn't too terribly difficult. Just take your time.

your speakers should have a headphone jack, and your computer should have a speaker-in jack and a mic-in jack. plug your speaker jack into the jack on pc

I have LCS-1012 speakers. Where do I plug them into the back of the computer? Do I only need the cord that is attached to one speaker?


Hi,

Your speakers should have come with a power cord also, because they need a power supply also.

But the cord you have to plug in goes into the green round terminal on the back of your PC. If the cord it a usb then fit it to any of the spare usb connections.

Most speakers do not need any sort of software. All you have to do is to plug it in

If you're referring to a flatscreen LCD monitor you need to have the appropriate connectors on the model of monitor you're using.

if its a 6 channel connection its a little tricky try reconnecting your speakers that has a green connections. try playing a music while troubleshooting the connection...hope this helps..ITTech7574
