Just installed ex110 cordless keyboard to my hp dv9000 laptop running windows xp and an additional monitor yesterday. Yesterday no problems all working great. Today the 0 key seems to randomly come on and type a 00000000000000000000000000string until I backspace or do something to make it stop.

Just got it yesterday and keyboard is less than 6" from the receiver and duracells were new and came with it. I will try new batteries though...

changed batteris and that worked great. Until this am. Came in and same problem. switched batteries back but no fix. I am sure new fresh batteries each day can't be the solution! Anyone have any ideas

Batteries should always be the first thing you should try. We have had several wireless issues where users were positive the brand new devices were malfunctioning only later to find out a battery replacement and resync was all they needed.

Of course there is still a chance that the device itself is faulty, after trying different batteries and resyncing the devices if you still have the issue I would suggest a replacement.

Typically issues like this are caused by either a poor connection or low batteries which are causing the poor connection.

Try getting some new batteries and movie the receiver closer to where the keyboard is.

Did you install the Logitech Set Point software? If you did, you can edit the Function key assignments by opening that program. There are other ways to change your keyboard settings, pressing Left Alt and Shift can do this with Windows 7 by default. To check this in Windows 7, click Start > Control Panel. Under Clock, Language, and Region select Change Keyboard or other Input method. Once that window opens, click on the Keyboards and Languages tab and click Change Keyboards. Then select the Advanced Key Settings tab. There is a section marked Hot Keys for Input Language.

The manual and other documentation for the Logitech ex110 is available here: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/433/154?selectedcrid=433&selectedcid=154&WT.z_sp=Product&osid=&bit= .

I hope this helps.

Problems with Logitech keyboard

Install the software on the CD that came with the keyboard.

The program will allow you to edit what the three keys on the top right do and the special F keys.

If you don't have the CD google
