Try the flashlight test and see if you can see an image on the screen that way...do you have sound? If you dont have either then chances are its the power board, however sets made by Funai are known for LED lamp failure in the panel
this is similar problem to many PC monitor screens and that is the Backlight is not working and needs replacement , thats why you can see images with you flash light

Using the remote go to the menu for the TV. Look for picture or aspect ratio. Make sure it is set to 16:9 and not zoom or auto. That should clear the problem up.
