How do I clean my control panel on my range or oven?

I have the same problem.

Milk boiled over on the stovetop of our KitchenAid Superba. The underside of the control panel window now has lines, like a design, under it. I don't know if it's cracked or wet, but our extended warranty doesn't cover it. How do I get under it to determine what's wrong?

Use glass cleaner and soft cloth or sponge. Apply glass cleaner to soft cloth or sponge, do not spray directly on panel.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel-wool pads, gritty wash cloths or some paper towels. Damage can occur.

the hot top has rust due of water drop. i try to clean it with metal polish, it get rid out of the rust but the mark is still there. what can you recomend to get rid of that mark?
