How do I fix itunes unknown error (-50) on a dell vostro 1510 with windows 95?
I recently added three MP3 CD's in my ITunes after I downloaded the new ITunes update 10.6.3...and I recieve a message detailing certain songs can't sync because "ITunes could not copy "said song" to the IPod "My Name's IPod") because an unknown error occurred (-50)". Five other messages reappear with different song names but the same unknown error occurred (-50) pops up time and time again. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing ITunes, switching to Windows compatibility mode, manually adding music from my computer to IPod, downloaded music from Amazon's Cloud Player, re-installed Cloud Player twice, etc. What would be the best solution to this problem of mine, so I can FINALLY listen to my new songs?

Yes, I have had this problem. First, I would disable the automatic sync with the iPod and ITunes. You can do this by going into preferences in iTunes. Download the latest version of iTunes by checking for an update. Then click on your iPod in iTunes and restore the iPod to its original setting. This will erase the whole iPod. Then you can sync it with iTunes again. That should fix the problem.
