Question about Garmin Watches
Garmin 50 sports watch with foot device; one year old; now eats up batteries at the tune of 2 per week if not more; fails to keep time/distance etc after 9 minutes pass by; simply switches to reg time mode and loses all running data.
It sounds to me as you are having the problem with faulty contacts. They should be cleaned and checked for stiffness- if too weak must be replaced.
The next possible cause can be integrated circuit (IC) failure. In this case only skilled watchmaker can help you and that gonna be costly.
