X-10 Universal Remote UR19A DVD code search

If there is no DVD button on the remote then it will never operate any DVD player. If you want to control all the components of your audio system without the remote ever getting obsolete when you change to newer equipment then check out a Logitech remote. It's more expensive that ordinary remotes, but you program it online at their web site. If you ever change a component brand you simply go back to the web site, enter the new information and your remote gets reprogrammed with the USB cable that comes with it.

Hello i have a toshiba md9dm1 tv/dvd combo and i lost my remote I have a universal ge remote none of the codes work Do you know the code for my tv/dvd combo?

hi,
If you remote is a 4 digit one then the codes are
0394, 0924

If the remote is a 3 didgit one then the codes are
394, 902

MANUALLY ENTERING CODES

1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.) you wish to program.

2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH/SETUP button on the remote until the

INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release.

3. Press and release the button for the device you are programming (TV, VCR,

DVD, etc.). For AUX, press AUX then the device button you are assigning to

AUX. The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink then remain lit.

4. Enter the three or four digit code for your device using the number buttons in the

GE Universal Remote. After your code is entered the INDICATOR LIGHT will

turn off.

5. Aim the remote at the device (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.) and press the POWER
button. Your device should turn off

My daughter has an Iwantit ipod speaker model IW900 and it works/sounds fine with her ipod usind the dedicated ipod connector. On the the back of the speaker there is an Aux in socket. She would like...

It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.

We cant get the aux channel so we can watch a dvd or vhs

The "Game" or "AV" buttons on a remote usually switches the signal sources from antenna to RCA or AUX IN function. If you have lost your remote, there are many cheap remotes that have the AV or GAME button with the codes for your TV. These codes are normally in the little manual that comes with each remote so be carefule not to throw it away with the packaging. Hope that helps.

Universal remote

You can try a code seach which many universal remotes will do, this may be called auto search, if you have the manual for the RCA see if it is listed, instead of entering a 3 digit code, you cycle through all codes until the correct one responds to the unit you are trying to program.

No Aux Channel but I have the yellow and White plugs in the front!

Certain Universal remotes have extra menu and input buttons. Take a look around and see what you can find.
