The model number should be either on top or on the buttom of the same tag where you found the serial number. label as "M/S"
you will not find the specification for compaq.
go to the follwoing link and select the correct model.
unless the machine is registered before, you will not be able to fine exact specification.

Here's your GEEK-steer …

What you've provided is serial numbers. Unfortunately, those are pretty much only useful for commercial purposes (warranty, rebate, etc.). They do not help in determining the hardware specifications of your system.

FORTUNATELY, there's a very simple solution to your problem. Simply get SIW (System Info for Windows). It's an extremely comprehensive system diagnostic tool that will gather up every detailed hardware and software aspect of any system. This info will help you determine whatever it is you wish to know about any system (i.e., ordering parts). It's a must have for EVERY system user who does not currently have anything comparable.

Referrer: http://www.gtopala.com/index.html
Download: http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html.

The FREEWARE version is just as powerful as the purchase version. It just doesn't have a few report formats and command-line tools (which are not essential for your purposes). I also recommend getting the standalone (portable) version.

Good luck, and please post back to let me know how things work out, or if you have any further questions.

How to install riser card compaq evo

Finding a compatible graphics cards may be a daunting task if you know little about your computer's components and technical specifications. To find a video card that is compatible with your system, you'll need to uncover information about your motherboard and power supply by opening your case and peeking inside. From there, you can perform additional research and make an informed determination of the types of graphics cards compatible with your computer. If your warranty is still in place, consult your computer manufacturer or builder to obtain the information you need

Physically open your case and examine the number and types of slots on your motherboard. Unplug any cables connected to your computer prior to removing the side panel, but make a note of where your monitor connects. Remove your case's left side panel (when facing the front of the case). You may need to remove screws or to adjust latches. Please see your case or computer manual if you are unsure how to remove the side panel. Locate the current graphics card. By matching the port your monitor plugs into with the graphics card, you should be able to easily locate your video card. If you have an on-board graphics chip, the monitor will not connect with a card but with ports directly on the motherboard. Measure your case interior and the card slot. Make a note of how long the current card is. You must also measure for prospective maximum expansion card length. For example, if you measure 7.5 inches from the slot cover to the nearest obstruction (obstructions may include other slots, chips, or the processor), you will not be able to buy a card that measures 8.5 inches in length. The card you install must not affect any other components on the motherboard. Write down any brand name or model number so that you can verify the measurements by researching the card's specifications. Locate a serial number, brand name or product number for your motherboard and write it down so that you can research the motherboard and its specifications. Locate your power supply. Generally, the power supply will be in the upper-left corner of the case. Power cables connected to your drives, your motherboard and possibly your video card will run to the power cable. Make a note of the wattage, the brand name, and any model number. Perform research to verify the power supply's specs. Replace the side panel, and plug in all cables. Find a graphics card that will work with your motherboard and power supply and fit the motherboard's measurements. The card should both fit into the slot physically and be designed for the type of slot on your computer. Ensure that the card has drivers for your operating system. Hope this helps.

I lost sound drivers for my compaq Evo D510cmt model after formatting the system..... kindly help gets it back

~To download the manufacturers and therefore correct drivers or specific software;

Always get your drivers from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

I hope this helps.

Can you be more specific? What type of problems? What make and model is your computer and/or sound card and video card? What operating system do you have?

You could try these things that I have listed but unless you more specific I cannot help you any further.
Try re-installing the drivers for your sound and video card and also re-install direct x.
