most likely it is down for server maintanence. all game servers go offline for a little bit during the month to perform routine checks just wait it out for twenty four hours and it will be back in service. also make sure and check that your internet connection is not nat restricted which has to do with your upnp settings on your router. check the settings make sure unpn is enabled. hope this helps
Well depends on what games your playing you should upgrade to a PS3 or a Xbox 360 but PS3 is a cheaper buy, trust me you pay alot more for a Xbox then a PS3. Many reasons why your getting dropped your internet connection for your PS2 may not be good, EA servers for PS2s generally dont use many resources so it could be just the Servers. EA likes to focus on Computer games and other systems PS2 is dead now. You should upgrade.
I had the same problem where I'm logged into XBox Live and I couldn't get into the EA servers to play any EA games. This is what worked for me:
1. Hit the XBox button and Log out of XBox live. 2. Go to the Settings tab and select System Settings. 3. Choose Console Settings then Clock. 4. Choose Daylight Savings and set this to OFF and back out. 5. Log back into XBox Live and the time will be set automatically. 6. Start you EA Game and Have Fun!!!
