Advantages and disadvantages of raw food for dogs

Feeding raw food to dogs is a topic in dispute, as there are both benefits and drawbacks to this type of diet. Another name for this diet biologically appropriate raw food. A large part of rawdog food comes from high protein food such as chicken, turkey, beef, and fish.Other raw foods include egg, vegetables, yogurts, and pumpkin. One thing important to remember is that raw dog food should not be cooked, especially when it contains bones! Now let's talk about the advantages. First, it does not contain fillers and unhealthy chemicals that are found in commercial food. Second, it makes the dog have cleaner teeth and a healthier skin. Third, it makes dog have high energy levels. Disadvantages include health risks that could arise from dangerous bacteria in raw meet. Also, when a dog is fed rawfood, it is likely to not get all of the necessary nutrients (lack of minerals such as calcium). Last disadvantage is the risk of choking and breaking teeth from bones.

What vegetables are good for cats?

Cats are obligate carnivores, which means their natural diet is strictly raw meat ONLY. Cats biologically need the complete amino acid chain that is supplied in animal protein. Vegetables have amino acids but are missing certain parts, dogs and humans have the biological ability to synthesize the missing amino acid in vivo but cats can not. So long story short, no vegetables are not good for cats, however my cat loves pumpkin and canned beetroot. It is very hard to find cat food that contains no vegetables, the only way to give your cat the correct diet nature intended is to make it yourself.
