Re: Disk Tray

Look for a tiny hole on the front of the player and insert a paperclip into it and push. That will open it.

I kept a disk in a dvd writer and after sometime it has broken in the writer i have removed the disk tray and removed the broken disk pieces now the tray is not going inside

You need to open the cover of you DVD driver to check if there is some particle left inside the DVD. As there is a possibility that there is something left inside the DVD. If you have idea you can open it and remove everything left inside the DVD.

Check whether the discs you are using are compatible with the machine. I've just had the same problem using 8x DVD+R DL (Double Layer) discs, and after checking the users manual found that the machine only supports 2.4x DVD+R DL. I am now trying to find out if there is some sort of firmware upgrade available.

You may try a different style DVD disc. Are you using (+), (-), or (RW) the DVD makes a difference. Here is the manual for your product. Check pages 9 and 10. These pages tell you the type of DVD disc to use, and what speed they can be used. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim
