Trouble transfering files from macintosh to lg150 via bluetooth
I am trying to transfer my contact information from my Macintosh (OS 10.5.5) to my LG150 cel phone via Bluetooth. My computer and cel phone recognize each other but I get an error message saying: file not supported. What files are supported?

If you have a Macintosh, do the following:
Download Android File Transfer on your computer. When you plug in your phone, via USB, the app will detect it and reveal the files on it. Navigate to Photos, or something similar, and then drag n' drop all the files into the location you want in Finder.
This is a approved process by google, the company that made Android, the OS your phone runs, so no viruses.
Here is the link to android file transfer:
If you have a Windows PC, the process is much simpler:
Plug in the phone to the PC, and when a window pops up, select media device. Then navigate to photos, and drag n' drop the photos you want to the location on your computer.
Standard procedure when transferring contacts to another phone via bluetooth is, go to the to the phone's contact list and and press options. If the phone has bluetooth capability, it will display there "send VIA Bluetooth" as options. Select that option and make sure that the blutetooth of the recipient phone is enable. Once the main phone have searched the new phone, just press send and then acknowledge the business card on the new phone.
I have the same problem with the same phone.
I bought a Zeemote (bluetooth controller) which needs to have a .sis file installed on the phone, but the phone does not recognize the file type. Please help.
As for mefonna's problem, I usually connect my phone to my laptop, go into 'My Computer' to access the phone and just transfer files (drag and drop) across directly to your phone from there. There is also an app you could download called 'Bluetooth File Transfer' (which is free) to transfer files via bluetooth.
Use the bluetooth to connect your Iphone to the PC.
Open menu - connectivity and click bluetooth to ON.
You can also open the picture and use right key to send via bluetooth. The laptop must be On as it will detect the bluetooth, accept and get all the files send.
ur phone memory will become over, since the files r transferred from bluetooth to mobile and not to memory card...(if transferring large files)...
so,, u have to transfer small files to mobile then copy it to memory card...or if u want to transfer large files split the large files into small then transfer...
There are few tools to have. A usb cord, your PC has Bluetooth and pair with you N51 via bluetooth. Have the free software, "Nokia PC Suite". Download it from www.nokiausa.com/PCsuite. It's a free download. Once downloaded, restart your computer. (without the phone connected) Connect. It'll give you easy step by step instructions to transfer contacts to the computer. Plus, other multimedia you may have on your device. Very handy!! Then, just use Active Sync or any software you got with your HTC Touch HD. It can sync you contacts from Outlook onto the new phone. This is nice, in case your phone would crash, break, or the worse stolen. Your contacts are all backed up on the PC. Always take a look at www.htcwiki.com for the best tips & tricks for your HTC device and software updates. A lot of times they will even post known issues and work arounds.
