Some newer printers will allow you to print to it via wifi. If your printer has this capability check your users manual or the manufactures website to get instructions to do set up.

I have a lexmark x6570 printer it will not print on both sides of the paper anymore it use to print on one side then pull the paper back in as use the other side

Please follow steps below on how to print 2-sided on your printer:
Printing on both sides of the paper (duplexing) automatically:
  1. Press printmastert_76.jpg.
  2. With a document open, click File > Print.
  3. Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
  4. Click the Print Layout tab
  5. From the Duplexing area, select Use Printer Settings from the drop-down box.
  6. Make sure the printmastert_77.jpg light is on.
  7. Click OK to close any printer software dialogs that are open.

Printing on both sides of the paper (duplexing) manually:
  1. With a document open, click File > Print.
  2. Click Properties, Preferences, Options or Setup.
  3. Click the Print Layout tab.
  4. From the Duplexing area, select Manual from the drop-down box.
  5. Select the Print manual duplex instructions check box.
  6. Press Start.
  7. The printer prints the odd-numbered pages and the instruction sheet, which describes how to flip and reload the paper.
  8. Following the instruction sheet, flip and reload the paper with the printed side facing away from you.
  9. The printer then prints the even-numbered pages on the reverse sides of the odd-numbered pages, completing the two-sided sheets.
Note:
  • printmastert_78.jpg button is not functional with a Macintosh operating system. You can print two-sided documents with a Macintosh operating system by using the settings in the Two-Sided menu of the Print dialog.
  • Automatic two-sided printing (duplexing) works only with plain paper in letter and A4 sizes. If you want to print two-sided documents on another size or type of paper, use the manual duplexing method.
  • To return to single-sided printing, make sure the printmastert_79.jpg light is not on.

Needing to cancel printing

Your problem isn't in the printer. It's trying to print what you send to it. Check your settings in your e-mail program. You may be attempting to print all emails inadvertently.

Scanning to email; Canon LC730i

You need to network the printer via its ethernet port and you need an email server in that network to route the fax.

I got it to work at home using hmail (a free windows mail server).

Fax

I cant find the sending guide which I have in print, you will need that as the most important piece, but basically if you know basic email account setup, you should be able to go through data registration button on main panel and under system settings-> network settings I believe enter SMTP IP address of your internal email server. Another avenue for this would be to ask your ISP if they relay email for static IP subscribers. Qwest does and you might be able to point the fax directly to the relay but I haven't tested this (in lieu of the in home hmail server).

Copier with scanner:programming email addresses

step 1...finding ip address of copier.....On computer if running xp, go to start then control panel then printers and faxs, here you should find a icon that is for your copier, right not left click on it, then choose properties, then a box opens select third tab up the top named ports, a new box appears....now in this box there will be a tick in a tiny box near where is should say IP.......just place mouse near this tick leave still and on screen will display IP   111.111.111.111. ....write your version of that number down.(???.???.???.???)  close/ cancel all windows that we have left open. (this procedure can also be done via copier keypad as instructed previously)

step 2 openning up copier webpage....Open up the program that you use to explore the WWW, usally explorer... like this window you can see now in front of you up the top it says www.//fixya.etcetc ... in that spot put in the number you wrote down like 123.456.789.111 nothing else...hit enter and you will browse to copiers web page that has the settings for saving addresses in copiers address book.

If this doesn't work then you do not have the rights on your pc terminal or your not running xp or your computer or your pc is not set up to print to this copier, if this is the case then it needs to be done at the server that is connected to this copier.
