Hello Joannekirk9, I used to work at Miele in the technical services department. The most likely cause of your problem is the jets on the spray arm are clogged with soap build up or debris. Solution - Try cleaning out the bottom spray arm jets with a toothpick and then running the dishwasher through a short cycle like normal or china crystal setting. You may also periodically do this with about 1 liter of vinegar to clean out the stainless steel tub once every 6 months to prolong the life of the dishwasher. The vinegar acts as a really good cleaning agent. Also, When using soap use 2 tablespoons of powder solution only!!! Oversudsing is the biggest problem I have seen with these dishwashers. If you are still having a problem contact Miele technical support. They are always extremely helpful. I also have a G832sci and has been great

sounds like the water is not reaching the correct level. try waiting for it to fill and then put a jug of water in. if it heats up that's the prob -- not enough water if still not heating your NEW element may have failed - not uncommon if its a pattern part.
Your sprayer arms may be clogged. The upper arm attaches to a tube in the back of the dishwasher. If the support clamps come loose, the upper spray tube will not be flush with the tube and can't carry water to the sprayer arms. Also the sprayer arms can become clogged with paper remnants, bone fragments, or pieces of peeling. You'll need to remove the sprayer arm and flush it at your sink. If there is a jet that is clogged, tweezers will help remove the residue. Finally, the bottom of the door INSIDE the washer often get covered with gunk. Be sure and gently wash the bottom of the door INSIDE. You can open the door, spray some window cleaner on the bottom and then gently brush away the 'gunk.' Rinse with hot water from a pitcher or your sink sprayer and this can eliminate some of the residue that is showing on your dishes. I hope this helps. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my answer
IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH ITS NOT HEATING DETERGENT AND RINSE AID INTRODUCED INTO COLD WATER WILL GENERATE A LOT OF FOAM,IS APPLIANCE WARM INSIDE AT END OF CYCLE?OR IT COULD BE TOO MUCH RINSE AID IF IT IS FILLED WITH RINSE AID AND YOU ARE USING A TABLET WITH RINSE AID COMBINED IT WILL HAVE TOO MUCH TO USE IN ONE WASH.
sounds like the drain pump stays on. take the kickplate off and check for water in the base. if no water then make that little red bar to the left of the watervalve in the base go up and down a few times. you could have a stuck microswitch on the pressure chamber
