Right Click My Computer + Properties + Device Manager Check if the driver is detected if not you then need to check the Drive Cable . If every thing is OK then you need to check the Bios Setup and check if the device is getting detected. If you do not find any of the drive getting detected then you need to change the IDE cable from Motherboard to the device.

Cannot install MX310 to MSI A6200

I need to know what operating system you have installed and what version. For example. If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 is it the 32 or 64 bit version. In most cases this problem is a compatibility problem. The Drivers and software that come with that printer are the ones they had available at the time it was packaged. Because of the way Windows does updates you have to go to the manufacturer website and download the updated drivers. I also need to know when you have the problem. Is it when the software starts the install process or when you connect the cable to the computer so it is detected by the software. Without knowing exactly when the problem presents it could be anything to include a problem with the USB connections.

Hmmmm... You sure should have an option in your Control Panel for that settings. Try exploring your "Screen Resolution" by right clinking on the Desktop, and clicking "Screen Resolution". There'll be options for "Detect" and "Identify". When you connect your Projector, try the "Detect" option and see if a new Display is detected. If there is, click on it and look for "Advanced Settings" and try to find the option for "Invert" or "Mirror" display or something like that.
Or the easier option is to mount your Optima upside down but of course you won't do that as it may be very absurd and funny. (Kidding...

Inspirion B130 DVDRW drive

On the bottom of the notebook under the DVD drive push the latch to eject the DVD module. Once the module is ejected gently re-insert the module using both thumbs until you hear a click. Your DVD should now be recognized by the computer.

Detects CD but not DVD

Hi Chopadepve,

Please try this method but be more careful during working out on it:

Since your DVD drive reads cd's, but not dvd's It shows that the hardware works fine. Now we need to Edit the Registry to fix this problem.

1) click the start menu
2) click on "run"
3) type "regedit" and click ok
4) go to string key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
5) delete "upper filters" and "lower filters" in the right side window.
6) right click my computer in the start menu.
7) click properties
8) go to the hardware tab
9) click device manager
10) expand the dvd/cdrom drives
11) right click the dvd rom and click uninstall
12) Reboot PC

Windows should automatically install a clean ROM drive after the reboot otherwise Open the device manager window and click "scan for hardware changes". DVDs just read fine if you have the correct DVD decoders.

If no luck then might be DVD read head wiped out.

Regards
ELLIN

Problem in opening cd.

Please checked in bios, is your dvd detected ?
if your dvd isnot detected, most of the time is your dvd, sometime it mainboard problem.

Also checked in the device manager, is your dvd there and need driver ?
if yes, you have 2 option, you can reload your OS or you can edit the registry.
follow this step if you want to edit the windows registry:

Where are you looking to recognize the disks? if it is in my computer in Windows it would most likely be because the Roxio software was what was recognizing the disks. generally Windows does not do a very good job of recognizing blank disks. I would look at the disk information in your current CD burning software and see what that says.
