Question about Northwestern Bell EasyTouch 26510 Corded Phone
The speakerphone on the Northwestern Bell EasyTouch II 76510 has normal loudness when I press "SPK" before I dial out, but then becomes almost mute once I punch in the phone number and the phone rings at the other end, stays at the almost mute level through the conversation. I thought it was an unstable contact but why would it begin with a normal loudness? I switched to a new phone line and cleaned out the speaker as well as possible. Initially it would react to different phone position or manoevering of the phone line in the outlet, but no longer. Thank you for any help.

The phone speaker/new light keeps blinking even after I have deleted all the incoming calls. There is a msg blinking on the screen and I have no idea how to get to it or shut it down.

I dont have the manual for this telephone because I bought it out of goodwill ..so I see some callers were blocked and am wondering how to use the phone to block several annoying calls and how to opperate it.

I was able to find an owner's manual on the Web. Though the direct directions did not solve the problem, I was given enough information to experiment and solve the problem on my own.
