36" Ceramic cooktop:I bought Wolf brand because of reputation...should have asked some questions I guess...formerly owned GE, it had operational problems but I could get it clean. Wolf operates properly, but it won't come clean even with the retail cleaners...and I've tried every natural and somebody's relative's compounds. Is it legal to sell something that won't come clean??? If you own a Wolf Ceramic, and can get it clean, talk to me, please!

I have burnt millk on the large hotspot. I tried detergent and water. did not help. I then tried a mixture of vinegar and baking soda . I place a rag with the mixture and layed it over it for an hour. It loosened some of it,but also had to use a razor blade. It would take a few days to get rid of it.
My dish towel accidentally touched the hot spot on my ceramic cook top and melted. I have not been able to remove the burned stuff off the cook top. Any advise?
I use Cerapol & Ceraseal, my cooktop came with a scraper, but you can buy these from the supermarket they come with a thin blade, which you can use to scrape off the stuff that's stuck on the cooktop, but with caution, it doesnt scratch unless you scrape it incorrectly. anyway i use cerapol & ceraseal which is an Australian product I promise you it makes the cooktop look like new. After scraping I drop a couple of cerapol drops onto the top & wipe it onto the top with a paper towel, then wipe with damp cloth, then a few (very few) drops of ceraseal rub/wipe with a soft cloth till it "shines". that's it!

Do not use abrasive cleaners on a ceramic cooktop. Cleaners such as BLANCO's Cerafix are recommended, use with a soft cloth to remove stubborn spills, or else a damp cloth and warm soapy water.

I also have a dark burned spot on the large burner which I have tried removing with the products recommended by Kenmore. I am hot able to remove the spot. I am wondering if I have to replace the entire ceramic glass top since I don't seem able to remove this large area. Any suggestions? Joy

I'd been less than vigilant at cleaning up spills, so cleaning the base of my kitchenaid cooktop was a daunting task. What finally worked for me was using a Shark handheld steamer and a green and yellow Scotch-Brite sponge and elbow grease. Now it looks great.

My Wolf ceramic cooktop has a cloudy discoloration around the burners - nothing removes it. I bought this cooktop for ease of cleaning - what a mistake.
